Rail Day on September 16 & 17, 2022

Once started as the Karlsruhe model, the rail network for light rail and trams is now a playing field for interesting and innovative ideas. On Rail Day, the AVG, the VBK and the KVV offer insights into the past and future of the urban rail network. Visitors will have the opportunity to gain insights into LogIKTram and regioKArgo during a lecture by Dr. Michael Frey, deputy director of the Institute for Vehicle Systems Technology (FAST), Automotive Engineering Department at KIT, and learn how the rail network can be used beyond passenger transport.
